Student accounts updated Jan. 20th 2012 with all fundraisers completed. 

The student accounts have been updated to include the entertainment book fundraiser. Paper copies are available in both band rooms, and the electronic PDF is online here. 

Due to MEAP testing, the 7th and 8th grade fall concert originally scheduled for Thursday, October 20th has been postponed until Tuesday, November 8th at 7:00pm in the AMS auditorium. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

On Tuesday, Oct. 11th at Port Huron High School, the Algonac Marching Band earned straight First Division Ratings at the MSBOA District 16 Marching Band Festival. This is the sixth consecutive year that the band has earned straight first division ratings. Job well done band! 

BWAC festival tonight in Port Huron! Busses leave no later than 4:30 depending on when they get here. You should be ready to go by 4:15 inc ase they get here early. TURN IN YOUR PERMISSION FORMS.

Student Accounts were updated August 4th, 2011 

Wow. After two long weekends of State Band Festival, the 7th grade, 8th grade and HS Symphonic Bands all earned a First Division overall rating. As far as can be determined from existing records, this is the first time in Algonac Bands history that three Algonac bands have gone to state festival and received first division ratings. Excellent job bands! 

Despite a snow day on the day of band festival, the Algonac HS Symphonic Band gave an outstanding performance at Anchor Bay HS on March 11th at the MSBOA District 16 Band Festival. The band received a first division concert rating and a first division sight reading rating for an overall first division rating! Outstanding job band members, and thank you to all the parents who attended and supported our band!  

Huge congrats to both the 7th and 8th grade bands for earning straight 1st division ratings at District 16 Band Festival on March 4/5! This is the first time that both bands have received straight 1's! Way to go Algonquin!
